Hope Matters: Tackling Eco-Anxiety and Inspiring Climate Action

Whether you're experiencing climate anxiety or want to feel inspired, we invite you to this workshop to learn about your role in creating a better future.

In this event, we will be hearing from author and speaker Dr. Elin Kelsey (author of Hope Matters: Why Changing the Way We Think Is Critical to Solving the Environmental Crisis) as well as local youth councillor Rimsha Ashraf from Young London. This event will be opened by spoken word artist Sunday Ajak, with support from the London Arts Live program. Tune in at 11:45am to listen to Sunday's performance!

We will be hosting all Green in the City sessions online via Zoom. These sessions aim to be informative and topical and will include opportunities to ask questions and share feedback.

Please register for this session through Eventbrite to receive the Zoom link. This event will be recorded and available for public viewing afterward.

Green in the City is a seminar series that explores local issues through a sustainability lens. Learn about lifestyle and behavioural changes that support the planet, London’s communities, and you! This is a free community event made possible by the London Environmental Network, London Public Library, and the City of London. See all past and upcoming events from the Green in the City series here.
