Family Literacy and Math Events

Do you like engaging with families and helping young children learn? Do you have 2.5 hours to help out?

Investing in Children is excited to begin its next round of Family Literacy and Math Events. This session's theme is I Spy a Mystery.

The events take place at London and area schools. Students in JK to grade 3 and their families attend the event to participate in a fun night of learning!

These events are provided in the school's gym either after school or in the early evenings. Volunteers are part of the team that helps run the fun-filled activity stations that are all connected to the theme and contain a literacy or math learning component. The event is 1.5 hours in length with a half hour before and after to set up and take down the stations. We are recruiting volunteers to assist with program setup and takedown as well as facilitating an activity station. On-site training will be provided upon arrival at the event.
