Position Description

Good Neighbors Canada is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in Korea in 1991. It was granted General Consultative Status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).

To make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony, we work in 35 field countries and 191 communities with our focus on community development projects to protect children’s rights and encourage the self-reliance of communities, and humanitarian assistance programs. For more information, visit gncanada.ca.

Fundraising Committee Members are responsible for raising funds to support various proposed projects from Good Neighbors’ field countries. After discussing with the Executive Director, Fundraising Coordinator will select one of the proposed projects from field countries and develop detailed fundraising strategies to support the project and raise awareness of the issue in the community.

With the help of the Volunteer Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator will recruit and establish fundraising committee members to work together and arrange meetings on a regular basis. As a team, Fundraising Committee will work according to the coordinated plans to raise funds and complete the project.
