Looking for a unique way to give back to your community? Need your mandatory volunteer hours for graduation or looking for volunteer opportunities for post secondary requirements? Retired and looking to give back?

We have lots of opportunities at NWLRC to help you meet your goals and know you are helping to make a difference in your community!

Attention youth: gain experience to put on your resume, make friends, build your network and feel great about helping other children and youth in Northwest London neighbourhoods!

Position Details

We are looking for tutors of all ages (from high school age to post secondary and adult) to help with our Homework Club. We offer tutoring in all subjects and are currently seeking tutors who have a special interest in French, Math, Science and English. Homework Club takes place every Thursday evening from 5pm-7pm at the Sherwood Forest Library, Meeting Room B. 

New volunteers must be able to attend one of the below volunteer training sessions and must be willing to obtain a criminal records check.

Next volunteer training sessions: (must attend one)

  • Tuesday, August 29 from 5pm-7pm at NWLRC office
  • Wednesday, August 30 from 1:30pm-3:30pm at NWLRC office
  • Upcoming September training session TBD
