Position Description

Officials and other volunteers are required for the 2018 London Regional Spelling Bee on Sunday March 25, 2017. Persons may volunteer for one or more category. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Please note that a 2 hour training session will be required for the Resource Person - Intermediate. 

Primary (8:30am to 1:30pm)
Usher 1
Usher 2
Concession Stand 2
Concession Stand 3

Junior (1pm to 4:30pm)
Usher 1
Usher 2
Concession Stand 1
Concession Stand 2

Intermediate (4pm to 6:30pm)

Resource Person
General Helper

Skills Preferred

No experience necessary
Basic Language Skills (all positions except Resource Person - Intermediate)
Advanced Language Skills (Resource Person - Intermediate only)
Comfortable with ticket or snack sales (Usher and Concession Stand persons only)
Attention to detail (Resource Person - Intermediate only)
