The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF) celebrates Canadian heroes whose work advances health in Canada and the world. We foster future generations  of  health professionals  through the delivery  of local and national youth education programs and awards. This enduring tribute to our country’s rich medical history is showcased on our virtual hall at www.cdnmedhall.ca and in an exhibit hall in London, ON. Position Description:

The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is looking for a new board member to join our board this Spring to serve as Treasurer and Chair of our Finance Committee. To ensure the best possible representation and decision-making environment, importance will be given to diversity in ethnicity, race and culture.

Region:

We are a national porganization but our home office is in London, ON

Skills and Experience:

Certified accountant with finance leadership experience

Time Commitment

Term Length: 3 years; May serve up to two terms | This position serves on both our Executive Committee and is Chair of the Finance Committee

Board Meetings:

Four times per year January (Virtual Meeting)

• April (Virtual Meeting)
• June (in person following the Induction Ceremony in rotating cities across the country) October (Virtual)
