Position Description

Do you have a passion for education, or a knowledge set you would like to share? Would you like a chance to help youth learn and grow?

The Boys & Girls Club of London After School Program (A.S.P.) needs tutors in multiple disciplines for the high-school homework program. Working in tandem with BGCL staff, you would tutor individual or small groups of youth in a field of your choice.

The A.S.P. homework program runs out of Sir John Paul II Secondary School. Program is on Wednesdays, from 2:00-5:00 p.m., and is for grades 9-12.

To volunteer, you must submit a Volunteer Application (obtained from our website or completed online) and include 3 references on the application. References cannot be family members or equivalent.

You will be asked to obtain a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC). A letter will be provided to obtain the PVSC after the references have been contacted by our staff. The cost of the PVSC will be reimbursed after a probationary period.
